I'm just trying to defend his point of view. Personally, I've cancelled out on LAN parties for numerous reasons (ie, girls, other commitments, etc). In fact, my LAN buddies have quit calling me for LANs just because I'm generally a no show.

and the only reason that option is getting all of the votes is because this would never happen to the avearge poster on this fourm. so of course they would ditch a LAN party if a girl actually talked to them

Personally my idea of a fun saturday night, regardless if a girl is involved in it or not, is not a LAN party. So that alone makes me ditch the LAN party.
