I'm glad I'm content playing last generation systems. I just got an Xbox a month or so ago and I've been playing it since. Still play my Gamecube a lot too. I'd buy a Wii on launch day, but I'm too cheap to pay more than $20 for a game.

Warhawk
Final Fantasy XIII
Resident Evil 5 (probably not exclusive)
Silent Hill 5 (if there is even one to be made, not sure)
Full Auto 2 (just for fun)
and of course Killzone (if/whenever that sees light)

and like i said, thats just for now, and just the exclusives... i wont be getting a x360, so multi-console but non-pc games I'll pick up, and not to mention games that are on the pc but my pc won't be able to muster (not sure if that will fit the bill of any game since I plan on getting a 7800gt-equivelent of the dx10 cards to replace my 7800gt. need to upgrade a few other components, but what have ya.

If $600 is a lot of money to you, don't buy it.

I have enough of a backlog of games that I might not bother to preorder one, but then again I might since Netflix rents blu-ray discs now without any extra charge.

If Sony ever starts mastering blu-ray discs correctly then $600 isn't too much to keep my HDTV properly fed
