Pretty sure it is just a Warcraft movie.

The fantastic series of games, including Warcraft 3 which is the basis for WoW, precluded the MMO.

I miss seeing those RTS' as well.

I play WoW every day... but I have no clue who arthas is supposed to be... I don't know anything about its lore nor care to... so I wouldn't watch this movie anyway. Also have never seen any Star Wars/Trek or Harry Potter movies... WoW players aren't all the same you see.
