Asus is more marketing than quality imo. I've had too much bad luck with them. Gigabyte has been rock solid for me though.

Both are good. Seems we really push Asus hard here, both motherboards and laptops. I've personally had nothing but success with them but I'm willing to admit a lot of it may be marketing.

Asus put out a damn video about this when they changed the pronunciation last year.

Thats the official crap. /thread

Well, then they're wrong in changing the pronunciation.

It's like when Joe Theismann changed the pronunciation to rhyme with "Heisman"; his name is still 'Theesman' no matter what he says.

How the fuck do you pronounce Theismann as Theesman?

Oh fuck, I'm turning into Hal. 🙁

I thought we were talking about Jesus.

When I saw the thread title, it made me think of this:

Zeus: Why you keep calling me Jésus? I look Puerto Rican to you?
John McClane: Guy back there called you Jésus.
Zeus: He didn't say Jésus. He said, "Hey, Zeus!" My name is Zeus.
John McClane: Zeus?
Zeus: Yeah, Zeus! As in, father of Apollo? Mt. Olympus? Don't fuck with me or I'll shove a lightning bolt up your ass? Zeus! You got a problem with that?
John McClane: No, I don't have a problem with that.

😎

Haven't read the thread yet, but op is wrong. It's pronounced "uh-soose."

[edit]
OK, so they recently changed it.
