I am really surprised by this.
I'm not. Trump is an amateur when it comes to anti-Latino racism. Arizona would be wildly different politically if more Latinos voted, but they don't. Year after year, state politicians dump on Latinos because there are no repercussions because so many Latinos don't vote.

Little respect for the process? Like calling for a foreign government to hack your opponent?
He was speaking of the 30,000 missing emails. If you think that means hacking Hillary than you must also think she is in possession of them. Does that make her look better or worse?

Like state legislators enabling pointless laws that disenfranchise voters and make it more difficult to vote?
I didn't know Trump was a state legislator.

Like a presidential candidate claiming the election is rigged?
He is an ass, I agree.
Like using government agencies to put a thumb on the scale of the presidency?
What agencies does Trump actually control? And if we're talking about putting a thumb on the scale, how about the Executive Branch actively campaigning? And in a similar vein, the DNC itself was caught pushing for Hillary over other Dem candidates. Trump is a cad and a dinosaur, but sure hasn't had his party in his corner.

That said, my original post was about the dem fans and not the actual candidate. They've made sport of dumping on Trump and seem to take great joy in it.

My point is that people should wait and see how the market behaves during Trump's term, not before he's even declared a winner (which isn't guaranteed at all right now).
Assuming Trump gets his protectionist agenda through, we've already seen how that works when it was tried before. Hint: it caused the Great Depression.

NY Times claiming 93% Trump right now which they consider "Likely".

OK, even if we say he's definitely winning, doesn't change my point. Just look at how wrong pollsters and speculators got this election, and as a result we're supposed to all sell before it's too late or something? I'm terrified of Trump's proposals to ramp up spending to levels that would meet/exceed(?) even WW2, but it doesn't mean he'll pass them, it doesn't mean there aren't already a lot of problems with the economy, etc.

Totally agreed there. Free trade is the one area that I'm totally on board with Clinton over Trump, and why I would never vote for Trump.

I don't actually care any more, simply because a Hillary presidency without a Senate majority is pointless.

Open borders was always a bullshit red herring.

So you are saying that illegal immigration hasn't been surging under Obama?

Open borders is not something that could happen in 4-8 years of a George Soros presidency... But if he gets elected this surge of illegal immigration will not end. This would fundamentally change our nation in the same way open borders would.

My hope is that if he does win, the rational heads in Congress from both sides of the aisle will come together to keep in check. Establishment Republicans can't be too happy about the anti-establishment candidate winning.

I wonder if Trump in the ultimate troll maneuver gives Sanders a seat in his cabinet.
