House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) credited Obama's leadership on the legislation yesterday, saying, "The American people know, and historians are judging, that this is one remarkable president."

I tell ya, I don't know who this gal's speech writer is or who her advisors are, but just when you think she can't top herself, she opens her mouth & takes a poop!!!

sigh

Exactly like that. It's power over progress.

No, Bush did a lot to hurt the republican party.

Obama isn't doing much for the US but a lot to prop up the democratic party and to keep them in power.

It's only 3 weeks in, he hasn't had a chance to really do anything yet.

I disagree he has done a lot for the democratic party, nothing for the US.

I have to admit he is moving al ot faster than I thought he would and could, he has used a huge negative for the US into a huge positive for the Democratic party.

WTF? If this bailout turns out to be a failure there's going to be a lot of (D)'s getting voted out of office in 2010/2012 - possibly Obama himself.

Thats your opinion, nothing more. i know my industry is ready for our little chunk of tax breaks. Yes our stimulus will be coming in tax breaks and it was deemed as pork by the repugs. Disgusting little creatures.

Funny how that works huh? The republicans can run the ship aground and throw the keys to the dems who if they can't get it moving again the republicans get to blame them for the whole mess. Sounds to me like the republicans are in a pretty good position.

Yep... Pretty much why you don't see them supporting the bailout. Amazing their timing of returning to fiscal conservatives, eh?

It's also amazing how many sheeple believe this already. We all know peoples memories are short, especially when they are having a hard time putting food on the table.

Don't feed the troll. All the guy does is post the most inflammatory things he can but has never backed up a single thing he's ever posted.

It's amazing how stupid this Democrat vs Republican argument is. Everybody wants to blame those from the other team and just can't see that neither team is playing for them. Bush offers some tax cuts and spend more money then any president before him so Obama takes over by giving a little in tax cuts and tries to beet Bush's 8 year total spending in 6 months and we all pick a side? They are both assholes who are stealing our children's futures. People need to look at the people they sent to Congress and find out if they are voting in there best interest, and if not, replace them. Once Congress is cleaned up, the president, whoever he may be at that time, will have much less power.
