I've been told nose hair grows faster than the hair on your head and face. In my own unscientific testing I have confirmed this. A groundbreaking discovery to say the least, eh?
Last I knew the hair on my head is much longer, has been growing for the same amount of time and has been cut regualary. I have virtually ignored my nostril hair. I'd like to see the data on that one.
Actually, nasal hair, and ear hair, starts growing faster in later life, while other hair slows in growth. This is why some of you younger people notice the hair on your head growing the fastest (for now).
Once you hit 40 and you start having to cut it, you are doomed. It will keep on growing ever faster and in a few years you'll have to clip your nose hair every other day to prevent those unsightly follicles from resonating when you breathe.
