It's right in line with "It's not the people who vote that count, it's the people who count the votes". When things are bad, change the way you present the information. Change the way you count deportations, change the way you measure inflation, change the way you measure unemployment, etc. These are deceptive practices. And those that were aware when the changes were made understand that the deception was willful and purposeful. Everyone afterwards accepts those reformed indicators as truth. The same with the unemployment figures. The numbers for what is being claimed simply do not add up correctly.
In two generations you can change an entire nation. The effect is enhanced when you teach the young ones that the older folks are racists and bigots that just don't understand. They are then marginalized and ignored. What is it we hear so many times today - "old white men". The transformation has already occurred. How many cultures teach their young people that with age comes wisdom? Certainly not the culture active within the borders of the U.S.
As I've said many times before, we have a ringside seat for one of the biggest downfalls of a nation this world has yet seen. Hold on because it's going to be one bumpy ride.
