It's Not What You Know, It's Who You Know *UPDATED*

Round two of my interviews with this company. I have dinner tommorow with the President, VP, Branch Manager, Territory Manager as well as 2-3 other candidates for the job. The following day I have the formal interview with said people. I am so nervous, I really want this job. Any tips on how to prepare for this? Dress for dinner was never mentioned, nor did I ask. I read somewhere to assume it is formal unless otherwise noted. Should I call and ask how to dress or will that just look stupid on my part?

***UPDATE***

Dinner went well, the following morning I aced the interview. I had the most experience out of all the candidates. However, one of the candidates was the little brother of one of the interviewers frat brothers. I overhead their conversation, evidently his older brother was in the same frat as the interviewer. Got the call today.........they hired someone else......geee I wonder who got the job.

It's a job interview - WEAR A SUIT

Don't be afraid to order what you want but don't eat it like a caveman

Use your napkin - food on your face = no job for you.

Don't get sh!tfaced on wine...

Ok one huge advise. This second interview is to see how you are personally. They want to see how you behave "outside" of work. So the best advise I can give you is to be yourself, and no NOT drink more than you can handle (duh.) But seriously, you're almost in the door, just relax don't put on a fake mask, pretend your with your bros, thats the whole point of this. They want to see whether or not other people around the office can stand your personal being.

Good luck mate

danny~!

Don'r listen to this dufus, swear like a drunken pirate whenever you get the occasion

It doesn't matter what you wear or what you eat. You're gonna screw it up! You're gonna blow it! They're never gonna hire you! Every other candidate is so much more qualified. You'll make a fool of yourself.

Good luck. 😛

jeez, worthless frat brat got the job ?

He doesn't know for a fact that it was that candidate that got the position. Additionally, it is more than just experience that comes into play when finding the right candidate.
