It's never a fvcking dull moment in life.

One of my best friends is in the hospital with his heart failing. He is going to UF in Gainesville, Fl., and is at a hospital up there. My other best friend who shares a apartment with him has been with him since 10 this morning. Well, this is what happened from what my friend said.

Drew (the one in the hospital) wakes up Syan (my other friend) with himself bleeding. He said he blacked out and had a seizure in the bathroom and he hit his nose against the tub I guess. Syan rushed him to the emergency hospital and every five minutes he had a seizure and blacked out. His parents came up there in 3 hours since that's how long it takes to get there from here and by that time they put some kind of device in his heart where it allows the bottom part to beat properly. For some reason, it was not beating correctly. He is on a pacemaker right now in acoma, I think. There are only two things it could be: 1) It's some kind of virus, it will work out of his system in a minimum of two weeks. (I am hoping this is it.) 2) It is lime disease, which is incurable. I have really no idea what it does except this. I just hope he doesn't have this.

I had just got home and called my friend up there and he told me this. I was speechless and I wanted to race out to my car and drive up there and help them in any kind of way. This weekend blew already and this takes the fvcking cake.

Always keep up hope, guy. A girl I know had a bad heart, and there was seemingly no way she was gonna survive it. Then, our school started up a big fundraiser for it, and she got a new heart. Her life was saved.

Unfortunately, her body is, for some reason, just now starting to reject it. 🙁

Good luck, I hope everything turns out OK.

Sorry to hear that 🙁

I live in Gainesville..if they need anyone to run an errand or something for them, lmk..

Lyme disease is typically caused by ticks..is he an outdoorsy-type of guy?

No, which is wierd. He's a freakin gamer like me where he stays in all day and then goes to class. But the doctors are saying lyme disease can stay dormat for awhile and then pop up with the symptoms. I was reading a sheet and he hasn't been sick in the past week and hasn't had muscle or joint pains at all. Plus there isn't any spots on his body from a bite. So I'm hoping it's not lyme disease. 🙁

Again, if they need someone to do something for them, let me know...I'm pretty much booked solid tomorrow (school 8am to 11:50, then work 3-11)..but I'll try to do what I can..

I hope he pulls through. At least he's still alive and there's hope.

I had 2 friends who went snowboarding together about 6 years ago. They decided to race down the mountain. One guy got to the bottom first, and waited for the other guy to come down. He didn't. The first guy walked back up the hill to find the other guy laying face down in the snow. Apparently he had a congenital heart defect that he's had since birth, but wasn't detectable unless you were specifically looking for it. They say it could have given out at any time, from the minute he was born, all the way up until he was 70. Kinda sucked that it happened when he was 15.
