Its name that movie time!

You guys are usually pretty decent at this, theres a movie i remember bits of but i dont remember what it was called.

Heres what i remember:

Its a reasonably modern movie (i think) and its mostly set underground, like in a subway system or sewer system, maybe both. Theres some sort of creature down there, or maybe a few creatures. Eventually theres a team of 6-7 people down there investigating and they all get trapped inside an old train car because theres many creatures outside in the subway system trying to get at them. One guy goes for help, i think later in the movie when they leave the car (or are forced to leave by a bigger creature, i cant remember) they find his dead body and gun. At the end of the movie they find a lair with thousands of these creatures, they could be giant bats, or maybe rats, or aliens or a cross of the two, the people that discover this narrowly escape through a hatch in the floor and before they escape they set off a bomb destroying everything.

What was this movie? I got no idea, i watched "graveyard shift" and it kinda reminded me of this other movie that i just described.

Mimic! Thats the one!! Damn i would never have guessed that name, sounds like its got nothing to do with bugs in the subway.
