It's more common to be a homosexual than it is to be a twin

It may be common, but that does not make it normal or right. While it is legal to have same gender sex in the USA, that does not make it right or even a sanitary practice. I dont hate gay people, but I dont have to like it. In today's culture the Law almost forces people to accept gays and the law makes gays a protected class of people. However, the law could be changed at any time. So I just try to ignore the subject, since I can not do anything about it. If you bring up anti-gay references you are branded a hate-monger. However, gays are free to jam their agenda right down your throat and out in the open in front of your kids.

It's not like the anti-gay crowd has never forced their agenda down peoples throats either, have they? Oh wait, the anti-gay crowd just treated homosexuals as criminals and deviants for thousands of years!

There is a reason the laws are being written to guarantee the protection of the rights of gay and lesbian individuals. People like you have had free reign for far too long in persecuting those who do not fit into your idea of what a person is supposed to be.

Edit:

This is classic bs.

While it is legal to have same gender sex in the USA, that does not make it right or even a sanitary practice.

When has sex of any type ever been a sanitary practice? Sex is actually pretty disgusting, even between heterosexuals. Husbands pass STD's on to their wives all the time and vice versa.

Are people who like pie allowed to jam their agenda right down your throat too? Because that would be awesome. Free pie!

Just because there are more gays doesn't mean that it is normal.

It doesn't mean it is abnormal either. The so called social norms we place on people are subjective. The fact is what may be normal for one person, may be abnormal for another.

Of course it means it is abnormal. What do you think abnormal means?
Abnormal does not mean wrong.
Being really smart is abnormal.

You really need to read what I posted again. I said what may be normal to one person may be abnormal to another and vice versa. It is totally subjective and has no basis in reality what each of us defines as abnormal.

Roughly 2% of the world population is a twin and 4-10% of the population is a homosexual. (these are numbers I've pulled from various websites - I'm not saying they're 100% accurate)

If it's more "normal" to be gay, why have twins not been exposed to the same kinds of issues that the gay community has?

Edit:

I don't understand why some people are having a hard time understanding the question.

Normal would be considered a heterosexual non-twin.

People are often singled out for being different from the norm.

If it's more common to be a homosexual than it is to be a twin, why has society (until recently) focused so much on being gay, and so little on being a twin.

Did you do this comparison too?

Because a LOT of people are religious nutbags who want to impose their idiotic ideologies upon everyone around them.

wait till fobot sees this thread

I considered a lockdown, but I thought leaving it open for discussion would be more...educational...to the topic.

I don't really see it turning out any differently than these threads usually do.

What about twin homosexuals?

I was raised by lesbians (there's no way to sound that without it sounding akin to "I was raised by wolves..."). They were both twins (not each other's you sick bastards). One of my mothers was a fraternal twin, and her twin brother was straight. The other was an identical twin and her twin sister was gay. Crazy stuff, eh? Just one more notch in the "homosexuality is biologically driven and determined by your DNA" argument.

Someone let you reproduce with them?

They use to openly kill the second-born twin and they use to openly kill homosexuals.

I think we have come a long way.

Homosexuality was persecuted both under the Soviet Union and Communist China. The religious are not the only ones guilty of discrimination.

It's simple science. Male and Female together produce offspring and continue the species. Male and male don't produce offspring so it's unnatural.

Fair enough.
