I understand, I was only reminding him he had another thread (as he hasn't replied to it in awhile) he is welcome to post as much as he likes, and I encourage it so he gets the best advice.

I just cancelled my ud3p order and got the Asrock P67 Extreme 4. I hope it wasn't a mistake.

Do you guys think ASRock quality is good enough? If its generally good then I think its a savings of 30 bucks or more vs Asus for equivalent specs. I also need to look and see what ASrock has vs the non-Pro P8P67 with just 1 PCIx16 slot. Maybe that could be like $120 bucks instead of $150.

Hogan,

Asrock has come a long way since the 775 boards. In quality they are really good bang for your buck.

Asus=ASrock

That's what I heard (same company that is)

I'm now looking hard at the ASRock if it will be comparable to Asus at cheaper price. Research research. Do you think ASRock's "guts" are many of the same parts as Asus? Like the digital voltage regulation they both tout but have different names for?
