Re: My Hike for Diabetes.

<< Hi Rob, I just found about you project, in the PCTA page
It so happens that I have been looking for some 4/5 years a way to go
thru the Pacific trail , but when I became almost able to do, I found to
be almost blind ,due to Diebetes .I am 60 years old .
I retired from the Aerospace industry were I was an Engeneer.
Now I live wihth my son in Central California , were my dreams of
backpacking died , untill I read about your proyect of the Pacific
trail.
I dont know if you will be willing to take sombody like me in the task
you are planing for the Diabetes cause.
If you consider my desire to joint you guys, I wil be more than glad to
do so .
However, I could do so only part of the trail. ( like joining you in
Sonora Pass ).
If you are interested, I will appreciate you contact me at:
>>

God, I feel so good right now. I can't wait to meet up with the guy, if only for a day hike. :)

Nice man. Go for it. My pops has diabetes, as did my grandmother when she was alive (died due to kidney failure from wrong diabetes medicine :().

People don't realize how harsh it can be. My dad woke me this morning needing something with sugar, or he was gonna pass out. Scarey sh!t man. :Q

Good luck. :)

There's nothing quite like outside confirmation to let you know you're doing a good thing.

You should be proud, Entity, and I hope you meet up with this guy and have a great hike together.
