Its hard to believe that 911 was almost a year and half ago.

The first place I checked for news on the event was on this site, then I went over to cnn.com

I think overall that the situation was handled rather well, if someone had told me beforehand that the world trade building would be destroyed and that there would be attacks on the pentagon I would have thought that who ever did it would be literally nuked off of the planet. However I think the president and his administration did a fairly good job of trying to prevent unneccessary loss of life.

Unfortunately terrorists don't die as easily as they used to and at times I wonder whats in store for the future

anyway, besides trying to figure out what happened with the emergency phone line a year and a half ago...


we didnt nuke because killing a lot of civillians would have been counter-productive, plus, once people start dropping nukes it will be WW3 and the world will end (not to mention radiation contamination etc to nearby areas)
