Student looks for woman from John Mayer concert
By Timothy O?Connor
Staff Writer

A McCutcheon High School student has placed posters around campus in an effort to get in contact with a woman he met at the recent John Mayer concert.

John Buckles, who plans to attend Purdue next fall, said, "The whole concert I was just mesmerized by the girl; it was weird. I?m not really easily swept over but there was something about her."

Buckles met her while waiting in line at the ticket window to buy tickets for the Mayer concert.

When Buckles went to the ticket window two days before the concert, he was informed that it was sold out. He was going to buy tickets for the David Copperfield show instead, but the cashier stopped him when she got a phone call. The call informed the cashier that someone had returned multiple tickets.

wouldnt it be nice if that really was the most important news of the day, instead of the normal war in Iraw, thefts, mothers killing kids and the rest?

Sigh! I can wish, no?

The elusive search for poon...ahhh yes.

In today's Dallas Morning News - the front page was rather grim - they showed a squad of Marines huddled over a fallen comrade (you could see the fallen comrade) saying a prayer for him. That kind of threw me for a loop.

Sounds like our local news! I wish I was joking. Several months ago their TOP story was about some lawn guys chasing down a burglar that had been breaking into homes in the area. Surely something eventful happened in the world that day. *shakes head*
