It's that time of year again. Time for the Eegees flavor of the month...Frosty Lime. Time to dust off my favorite mug and load up. If you don't live in Tucson, I feel bad for you. It's about $2.50 a quart, only available the month of December at all Eegees locations.

What is it some kind of lime cool aid in some fine crushed ice? Looks like it to me.

I don't know how they make it, it's kind of a secret i guess. It's doesn't taste icy (not usually anyway), just a thick slushie I guess, it's hard to describe. It's always how I envisioned Slurm would taste like 😛 - Frosty Lime has been around a while though, at least 10 years, probably around 15.

is it worth it??????????? I live in PA and my mouth is watering

ship it!!!

Do it 😀. It tastes the best it possibly can. The only trouble is trying to keep it cold, It will harden up in a freezer, and the regular fridge probably isn't cold enough. You'd have to change back and forth throughout the time you had it. So it needs some attention. Also, I don't know how much fedex overnight would be on that thing (go for the smaller package). Would fedex keep it cold while shipping? Wonder how that would work. I should mention there's no alcohol in it...no nasty fruit chunks/bits or anything either like that either, just a frozen tasty treat.

Looks tasty!

eegee's cocktails

For over 30 years, Tucsonans have known that eegee's frozen fruit drinks make excellent mixers for cocktails. Here are a few of our favorites:

eegee's daquiri
Add rum to Pina Colada or Strawberry eegee's.

eegee's margarita
Tequila with Lemon or Frosty Lime eegee's.

eegee's wine cooler
Your favorite flavor of eegee's plus your favorite wine.

eegee's "saskatchewan squeeze"
Canadian Club whiskey and Lemon eegee's, eh.

eegee's champagne cocktail
Toast your special occasions with Strawberry eegee's and champagne.

eegee's alcohol-free punch
1 Fun Pak of eegee's frozen fruit drink
2 6-ounce cans of orange juice concentrate
2 2-litre bottles of a lemon-lime soda (like Sierra Mist)
2 2-litre bottles of ginger ale

lemon, lime & orange slices
ice

Place contents of the Fun Pak in a big punch bowl.
Add orange juice concentrate, ginger ale & lemon-lime soda.
Add 2 big scoops of ice.
Add the fruit slices.

It's colorful. It's delicious!

eegee's "Instant Party"
You can be prepared to serve expected or surprise guests something really special at any time. Simply buy Quart or Biggee cups of your favorite flavors of eegee's and hard-freeze them in your refrigerator's freezer at home. When your guests arrive, drop the frozen eegee's and liquor into a blender, and give it a whirl. You'll serve up a delicious drink your friends will be talking about for years.

How much to serve?
How much spirits to serve with eegee's is really up to your own personal taste
and preferences, but we recommend:

1 oz. of liquor to 8 oz. eegee's

4 to 6 oz. seems to be just about right for a quart of eegee's.

19 to 22 oz. will spruce up a whole eegee's Fun Pak. Double that for an eegee's Party Pak.

Finally, be creative and have fun. Try eegee's with your favorite spirits - vodka, rum, gin, whiskey or anything else. But please drink responsibly.

mmm havent tried that flavor before...

<- relatively new Tucsonian... winter is nice so far hehe

Shabump, only 4 days left. I'm addicted and will definitely have Diabetes by the end of the month if I don't have it already. Ah well, best stuff ever.

This is my 4th december in tucson and I've never tried this flavor. I'm in Phoenix right now (I believe eegees closed down here), but I'll be back in tucson before the end of the month. I'll have to give it a try.

Had these a couple while visiting Az & yes, they ARE that good! (especially mixed with some good Tequila!)

Think it'd go good with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum? That's all I've got back at my apartment
