Not without weeks of preparation at least. I'm in the same boat. We did at least go out as a family (-1). We ate steaks at Longbranch, window shopped at Best Buy, and bought Halloween costumes for the younger 2 kids.
Now I get to play Sims 2 for an hour before bed.
I've got someone else's work to do. It'd normally be fine, but everyone here is a moron. Not really, but damn close to it.

And I would definitely keep it on a UPS, I don't trust their journalling (and I don't even know if anyone enabled that). So now I have a router that won't route, using a version of an OS I've never played with, on a machine in a room I have to go through _more_ biometrics to get to, with no error codes to help me out.
