In reading tech forums, i've ran accross multiple people who seem to really know their stuff.
They speak of chipsets and bus speeds, different cores, etc etc...

Yet they manage to spell athlon as athAlon every time.
WTF!? Am i missing something? Is there another breed of processors i don't know about?
Is the extra A a canadian accent??

I'm by no means a spelling nazi...but this athalon thing boggles me

Its not as annoying as people saying:

Li-barry = Library

I pacifically said = I specifically said....

Acrosst = Across

row-butt = Robot

new-klee-ur = Neclear (pronounced "new-clear")

...there is more, but I don't feel like digging my brain right now 😛

This really bothers you?

We have this thing during the summer, it's called sun.
Get some. 😉

Do you mean new-kee-lur, warcrow?

Its easier, I think, to say the two words together. Say it, "new-clear" and its pronounced correctly. Read the usage notes. (it won't copy/paste correctly)

The main mispronunciation of Nuclear is "New-Cue-Lar" instead of "New-clee-arr"

Other one that gets me (because my wife's in the business) is pronouncing REALTOR. There's no A after the L. So many people say REAL-A-TOR instead of REAL-TOR.
