See rigs for specs.

And now, the fun of installing and putting it together. Any last notes before I start screwing up? :)

<< Yes, take care putting the Heatsink on >>

I can't stress that enough! It's trickier than you think to put it on. Practice putting it on first so you don't screw anything up. Then, and only if you're able to put it on very easily without problems, put the compound on and snap it on for good.

Check all connections. I spent about 20 to 30 minutes after everything was in place just going over everything. Checking the seats and connections. If there was a wire not connected to anything, I'd find out why.

This is why I was able to POST the very first time on my first system build.

Looks like my system ! ;) It was easy to assemble ( well I've only built this and another Slot-A machine) but like Red said yes the HSF is the most important thing, and I had the Taisol so it wasn't too bad. I only had a couple probelms with the sb live value because they sent a bad driver cd :(.

RED-

Well, it looks like I got the shaft as usual. My boxed Tbird didnt have a Taisol and the one supplied didnt work either. Supplier couldnt just send me a fan, I had to return the whole unit. Understand why but I didnt reorder from them. Had to wait an entire week for my Orb and new Tbird (OEM) before posting the first time.

Get and install the new VIA 4in1 drivers is the best advice I can give you. Watch for new ATI Radeon drivers also.

So what do you call a computer question in a computer hardware discussion forum that is placed in the "Off Topic" catagory? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm;).

Well, because this is the off topic section of a computer forum, anything related to computers is "On-topic". Therefore, you're not allowed to post anything about computers in the Off Topic area, because it's off topic for the "Off Topic" catagory. The reason it's off topic for the off topic catagory, is cuz it's on topic!

Hmm now I'm really confusing myself :confused::confused:

Wow nice solid system, congrats! Out of curiosity what made you choose the ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder graphics card?

Seems nice for all around graphics (assuming you're not a hard core gamer), TV tuner, DVD playback, does it also have FM radio?

Rossman,

I wish it did had FM radio but oh well. This card is fully featured enough with hardware capture, hardware DVD decoding, 2d and 3d quality, 3d performance that is good, and of course TV tuner.

Good for moderate gaming, good for entertainment. A all around board that just almost throws in the kitchen sink. If ATi continues to develop higher performing 3d as well, their all in wonder series would rock! :)

No problems with the heatsink Red Dawn as it already seems to be on when I opened the box. It is a Super Orb. It is ok but judging from everything I see so far on the forums, I might have goofed on this decision. :(

Can't wait to get the case finished so I can start mounting everything. :)

If the ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder card were offered by Dell I might have selected that but instead chose the 32MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS.

Can't wait to get the case finished so I can start mounting everything.

Gonna take pictures?
