I just don't understand why this little car that I brought for $1500 can beat the bumpers of every Honda Civic that trys to race me. I mean these little civics have thousands of dollars worth of upgrades and they still have trouble keeping up. Should I disconnect a spark plug wire or shift below 2000 rpm to give them a chance?

well, that car just looks like a$$ And they might have thousands of dollars worth of upgrades, but not under the hood. If a someone invests thousands of dollars UNDER the hood, you'd lose.

Honda makes good, reliable, economical cars. It's not like they make and market the rice for them.

Yes, because we all buy our cars to race anyone who we pull up next to at a stoplight.
