Yup, this is toast. Sad really, we needed a little more variety in the hack'n'slash genre, especially something that didnt have hacking and slashing. Just blasting and smashing.

Its a hack'n'slash with a variety of weapons, classes, abilities and such. That genre has been expanding a great deal lately.

Borderlands case in point, sure it is First Person, but it pulls it off damn nicely

Graphics are not stellar but not bad either. Gameplay is what is more important IMO when it comes to games. Metal Black Alternative has the look and feel of an arcade style game to it from what I could see. I agree with some others that those voices would drive me nuts. I gritted my teeth just watching the trailer. Personally, it doesn't appeal to me but that's just how I am about such games like this. Not my thing really.
