Woah... it's curling north. Just watched the weather and they showed an extended satellite animation that showed it moving NW then curling sharply north. Still a cat 3 at 120+
Apparently there is a trough of air moving to the NE that is pushing it off the NW track it's been on for the last few days. Eventually it will weaken the storm down but good lord... At cat 3 it's got a ways to go.
They're still saying it will miss the Big Island but that is based on the prediction models. They haven't run/posted a model in the last seven hours. But check this out...

Ignore the purple model. The oldest model after the purple one is the red one, followed by the white, pink and green model. Notice a trend there? The newer the model the farther north the predicted track.
Gonna be an interesting next couple of days.
