Ummm.... how about just regular ol' fried chicken? If someone said to me "Hey, let's go eat some wings", I would assume that they meant some sort of KFC-esque breaded fried chicken... unless we were going to Hooters or BW3's or something. There are other kinds of wings besides buffalo wings... that is why we need the extra word.

Exactly, just because in Buffalo they only know one way to make wings doesn't mean that the rest of country has to be so narrow minded. I don't blame them though, they really have only one claim to fame, I can understand why they'd be so damn possesive about it.
