Everyone keeps using that word - VA-KA-SHUN...

What is this VA-KA-SHUN of which you all speak???

Sounds like it's a good thing, but if it was a good thing then why would we not be crunching some kind of distributed computing program with it???

No, this VA-KA-SHUN of which you speak must be an evil, evil thing that must be avoided at all costs ;)

Bah!

I'm leaving for vacation, too, and I'm leaving *my* herd running. :p

Although, no guarantees the 2 at work will keep crunching if power blips or someone reboots them.

wish I had that excuse, mine's pretty much summer mothballed, the $290 electric bill is a killer. (anyone wanna donate a high efficeancy 3 1/2 ton AC unit?)

Have fun on your vacation. (don't worry, my fleet will be running full throttle as soon as our high's drop below 90F again)

Pitty they don't do an air con system powered by a solar cell system ,the more sun there is the more power for the air con :D & no extra CO2 emissions!

Great idea! Are you shure no one has tried that? Would make sense - wouldn't it?

Solar is still too expensive, the panels aren't that bad, but the grid tie equipment is ridiculously overpriced.

Wish I was! :D

Kansas City, Mo. and NE Oklahoma this trip. The closest I get is Champaign, Il.

Having a good time, Net withdrawal got the best of me today though, so I broke down and took the laptop to a Panera Bread cafe, where I am posting this from sunny KCMO. :D

Heading to the lake tomorrow, NE Ok. According to my dad, the RV resort has wireless network setup, so I may post more often. Or not. :D

Thanks for the well wishes, I'll be back for sure Sunday night. :D

Having a great time! First time on-line since we got here. Not staying on very long either, we have the use of a 2 person Sea-Doo, and the lake is calling my name! :D

Cabin is great, air conditioned, 27" TV with cable, screened porch overlooking the lake! Wish we could stay another week or two.

Later! :D

Where at in OK?

HERE: WatersEdge RV Park at Grand Lake

If you go to the Location then click on the RV Site Map button, we were at the tip, in A22, which is a cabin.

Oh, and the SeaDoo was actually a 4-person model, the SeaDoo LRV. Similar to this one: Sea-Doo LRV

Large by wave runner standards, but suprisingly nimble. Probably due to the 130hp engine.

I was able to top out at 50 mph according to the speedo. My son was able to top it out at 54mph. :D

Got back into town at 1:30am EST this morning, left at 9am EST. Had to swing by Chapaign, Il. and pick up my daughter. :D
