While I suppose I don't have a modern PVA UltraSharp to compare it to, this definitely meets my needs. Make sure to get the "E" model not only for the price, but for the superior enclosure and button layout. I had the "D" and was pretty underwhelmed before I exchanged it.

I believe Officemax/Paypal had problems getting it to work and just got rid of it completely
 
This isn't really worth it since it's not a mva panel. That was the only real reason to buy these Soyo's before. Their quality control is really terrible. If you keep an eye out there's plenty similar priced panels from more reliable manufacturers

Cheapest I've seen is 299.99 and that's for monitors of questionable quality (companies I've never heard of before). You didn't give any examples of "similar priced panels from more reliable manufacturers."

I'm really impressed with my new Soyo... still getting used to it though.
