Its back X800 XT Platinum Edition for 435

If there are anymore questions about whether the Card is an X800 XT PE

I checked with one of the sales represenatives at Gateway online chat his name was Vin. He did say that the card was a X800 XT Platinum Edition, and he gave me the product # of 100-435210 which matches the product # on the ATI website for the X800 XT PEs.

Also the X800 XT PEs will be shipping from ATI this month according to the website.

And last but not least the Card is back on the Gateway website for the 434.?? asking price. I was told if I purchased it, it would be shipping on July 9th, I don't know whether to believe that or not.

Although you better not be in a hurry if you plan to get this card from Gateway.

I am supprise they have continued to take orders after the mad Gateway Rush.
Not many got it shipped in 48 hours.

Even mine has been pushed to July 7th.
Thats a hell of a long time.

Until ATI starts shipping these in a decent quantity, I think most of us are waiting so you might as well wait with a lowball price. All the estimated dates are just system generated which assumes things come in stock in a few weeks so they are not based on when ATI decides to ship them to vendors.

Buyer beware, you will not recieve your card for quite some time. My arrival date was 6/8, now it's the 23rd. I'll wait and see if I actually get it on wednesday.

My Arival date is still posted as 6/24.

The only times I've gotten a different arival date were right after the order (dated 6/10) and that crazy email that stated the middle of july on "the item listed below" and they didn't list any items below.

Since the 6/24 date has remained stable ... and so many others canceled thier orders. I'm starting to become hopeful that I will receive the card before the end of June.

My systems CPU will certainly be the bottleneck for this card though.

2500+, 1Gig Dual channel, Audugy 2 ZS, Dual Raptor, Adaptec RAID, Intel Gigabit, (9800XT currently)

I'm hoping that I'll be able to just simply enable full AA and AF on Everything @ 1280x1024 and keep my framerates @ 60+. With the 9800Xt there isn't much I can't turn high levels of AA on for. (Can't wait to push that into the spare box for friends to use.)

Hah, your system will be faster than mine...currently running on p4 1.8a, 1gb ddr333 dual channel, audigy2, wd 200gb se, 10/100, 9800pro. I will upgrade to p4 3ghz once (or if) this x800xt ever comes in.

I jsut ordered one and got my first confirmation e-mail. It is due in 7/20. I have already e-mailed them to cancel the order. That is WAY too far away, considering I already sold my 9600 and am turning it over to the guy this coming weekend.

Mines says arrival date 23rd but after seeing order details, it says it's going to ship 23rd. So we'll see

thanks I'm still debating whether or not I need this over the visiontek x800 i ordered .

You can do the AAA discount over the web. Just use the online chat thing they have and rep will come online and ask them for the discount. Thats how i did mine. $401 shipped.
