There are actually 2 $10 off $100 coupons for new buyers. One is for electronics, the other is for any purchase. So theoretically, you can get this for $129 shipped, which is pretty sweet.

Oops, looks like they're not stackable.

I just bought one today. I was trying to find this model (C960) at the olympus website and I found it at their Europe site. So this seems to be a european model. I dont' much about digital cameras and I'm not sure what's the difference between the models here in the states and Europe. I noticed something in the specification of the camera, the video output terminal is PAL. Does anyone know how's that going to affect me? Thanks for your feedback.

From what I understand the only limitation is that you will not be able to connect directly to an NTSC TV which is a standard format for North America. Pal is Europian format.

i don't think you can combine the two $10 coupons together.

BTW, there will be a $15 off $150 in all stores coupon for new customers from 5/20-26.

Both have similar specs. Canon uses cf cards, Oly sm cards. One thing I noticed is the Oly's ISO settings can be changed between 100, 250, and 500 and the Canon's is 100/150. I also remember someone posting previously that the Canon didn't do well in low light settings.

If you already have the Canon, save your money and use it towards a 2mp or above digicam. No need to have two 1.3mp cams with almost the same features/options.

Can somebody translate these into Englsih.... and how does it compare with my HP 315?

315:
Width: 5.0 inches
Height: 2.7 inches
Depth: 1.3 inches
Weight: 8 ounces

I'd really like somethimg smaller with an optical zoom.

Thanks.

Ring, here's the dimensions/weight of the 460 which is basically the same
5 w X 2.6 h X 2.1 d
weight 9.5oz

GT, Buy.com does charge tax in a few states, CA being one of them. I guess they charge tax in IN too.

One thing I really like about the 460, and I'm sure 960 will have this too is there's a protective cover over the lcd screen. The 510 (which I also have) doesn't have this and it's hard to get finger prints off the textured screen. I'm also scared of rubbing to hard and damaging the screen. Makes you wonder what Oly was thinking to remove this feature on newer cams.

Another one to consider if they have this in your area . . . check the site for your circular.

The Staples near us will be having the Vivitar 3665 2.1MP on sale for $179. $249 - $20 instant - $50 mail in rebate. If you've got a $40 off $200 coupon (mine just expired) it would drop the price to $139. It uses CompactFlash and has a 3X optical zoom. More info.

Obviously there's less info out there on Vivitars. We used to have one for our primary 35mm camera and it took AMAZING quality photos. Even better than the much more expensive Pentax we have now.

No USB??? Dang, then it will take forever to transfer them files...I'm cancelling my order if anyone wants mine. Thanks for the info, I just assumed it had USB.
