I couldnt go to the atlanta one last year, but I did win a CPU and mobo last year. Sure could use another one this time around again . I am really hoping to actually go this time too. we will see.

I was at the event in Orlando, nearly froze my A** off. Great Fun hanging and Talking with other Uber Geeks. I didn't win a cpu but did make off with an AMD pen and an AMD T-Shirt. Had a good time and will try to attend this one too. Glad its not so cold and it IS indoors! Thanks for the info!!!

Btw... Did anyone find out about the times? Searched all over and did not see a mention of what time of the day... Maybe all day?

Anyway, I registered, hopefully they will E-Mail me the needed info...

Later

I went too! We probably met too, lol. Did you go with Yakko and a bunch of other guys? 😀 That was fun as sh!t! 😛

DAMMIT I HAVE WORK! Why couldn't they have done the San Diego one a week earlier? Or the Los Angeles one on a weekend? DOH!

I registered for the Northern VA one as well.. hopefully i can remember and i can get back for my class.. if not it won't be a big deal.. hopefully i'll win something 😀.

the new york location is normally a venue for semi-underground rave events that promoters use from time to time. it's got a real bona-fide warehouse feel to it, just like in the movies 😛. i thought this was pretty funny...

I was at the Seattle one, 2000 people ended up showing up.
Somehow we cut in line and just in time to get the raffles.
3 tickets, one winner.
It was uncool standing there in freezing cold weather from 5am to 8am......

Bwahahahahaha.....I was one of the lucky 200.....😀

Wow, even fewer boards this time, for undoubtedly more people.

Last time there were what, 50 boards given out? And a good 1/3rd of those, including the grand prize, were given to ineligible people from our neighbour to the north.

I think this time there will be a "terrorist incident", keeping the border closed... 😛

First Intel virtually gives away their latest CPU and MOBO to retail employees and now AMD is offering free processors to those who don't have "obligations" on the weekdays. I guess in the new millenium it pays to be an underachiever.

I went to the orlando one too. Met an anandtecher there in fact. Though I wish they'd keep it outdoors. That was half the fun right there.

/me anxiously awaits another 2 hour drive

Exactly what time does it begin? I have a quiz that day.

Sweet! Hope I win something... San Diego is the closest location for me. Didn't they have a Los Angeles stop last time around??
