There's these people talking outside of my office and they've said "aks" instead of "ask" numerous times. It's so irritating.
 
I am not being racist here, but why does every black person I have ever encountered or worked with pronounce the word 'ask as "axe" instead of "ask"?
 
yeah, i always hear people from the south use something like:

"i'm going to aks him a question".

bothers the piss outta me too 😕

It's seriously lame. As is all the other 'cool' words are.

I especially hate finger snapping, head shaking, "nnaaaa ahhh, sister.... do NOT go there", cocky, black women who think "they're all that" and are so overwhelmingly loud and obnoxious you can't but cringe when you hear them. The weird inbred white trailer trash you see on import american TV seem to imitate it also.

That's hilarious. That, to me, is a purely American thing. Everytime I watch Buffalo's news and they are talking to folks about an incident, the whites, the blacks, even the minorities say "axe".

my favourite is the women on talk shows that repeat one word or phrase for 18 centuries, or until everyone else shuts up.

"No you di-int, no you di-int, no you di-int, no you di-int, no you di-int..." and on and on and on, until the break of dawn...
