I haven't been to happy with this new season. It hasn't been that funny except for the latest episode.

They need to focus more on Charlie. He's the best character in the whole show. I don't even care about the other characters any more, and when they are doing stuff with those characters, my interest totally drops now.
 
Last week's episode was much better than this weeks. Overall this season hasn't be as amazing as 4th season, but then again that was a mindblowingly awesome season. Let's not forget that every season has a couple weak episodes and since this is only the 5th or 6th episode, maybe you should chill and let it progress. There hasn't been a "bad" episode yet this season, just not stupendous ones.
 
Yeah- I do agree that this season has been more hit or miss- there's been a couple episodes that were great, but also a couple that were terrible...that one w/ dave and busters was almost unwatachable- waaaay over the top in advertising.
 
They have been spending WAY too much time on Dee, who by the way is looking more like a cracked out whore than ever before. There is just something so unlikeable about her I can't figure out why they would choose to focus so much time on such an uncompelling character. Maybe they're gonna off her later in the season. More Charlie. More Brandon. That's a recipe for success..... oh yeah and fewer shameless plugs for Dave & Busters. Crazy amounts of product placements this season, almost to the point of making me wanna just shut it off.
 
I dunno, i like ll the characters.. but charlie is definitely the best.

Of course without the others, there would be no one to rip on him. which is the best part.

I love Charlie as well, and this season does seem a bit off. Something I've noticed, or rather, felt is that its like they're ending the show like 5 minutes early, that it feels like they aren't getting all the potential out of where they could go with it. I think that's largely because they used to do that consistently, they'd go full on, whereas now they kinda hold back a bit. Its still funny, but just not quite as much so. I hated the Dave & Buster's one as well, although its not as bad in second viewing (I think that's probably because there wasn't D&B commercials all over as well). I think that's the Fox touch.

This show is awesome, but I do agree that there have only been 2 or 3 episodes this season that have been "classic" Sunny.

That being said, last season wasn't great either, but it was still pretty good. How long can they go on!?
