Pole: a long (usually round) rod of wood or metal or plastic.

Poll: an inquiry into public opinion conducted by interviewing a random sample of people.

Please people, stop posting threads "Complete with Pole!" because the only pole in the thread is the one that should be smacking you upside your head.

Thank you.

The stands part was a popeye reference.
I enjoy sarcasm, I really do, especially in the funny ways OP's tend to present it on ATOT. Things like teh, pwned, all that jazz are entertaining. I could be completely off on the whole pole thing, but every time it seems to me that they're serious, I guess it's just a pet peeve in the lines of people who misuse their, they're and there. If I have a proverbial bug up my ass I apologize, I shall have it swiftly removed.

 BTW I guess a pole should do the trick....

Don't forget! Pole: A proper noun referring to a citizen of Poland or a person of Polish descent. Not to be confused with the ruder "Polack," which is usually used as an ethnic slur.

That bug can't be too big; you pluralized OP with an apostrophe.
