Edit: Good job not naming her "Mackenzie" or "Peyton" though! It would be a sin to saddle another generation of cute little babies with that crap.

Congrats to you and your wife. And hello to your gorgeous baby.

You picked correctly on the name, imho for the reasons I stated in the original name thread. That baby is gorgeous and if it were not for the sleepless nights, painful breasts, and sh!tty diapers, I might just be jealous. ;)

Be kind to your wife. It is a rough ordeal that men can never fully understand. And realize... everyone is coming out of the woodwork to make a fuss and being helpful right now... but... in a few weeks, when most ppl go back to their daily lives and the newness hysteria passes... that is probably when Mommy will need Daddy the most. Be kind and loving... and pretend you understand, even if you dont.

C Section huh? Whew. That cannot have been easy! Glad it turned out alright though.

Congrats! You are truly a blessed man!!

:)

;) ;)

Edit: 12 !? *Feels dirty* That's BS.... Oh well, never seen a 12 year old like that before.

It's those short booty shorts. And the makeup.

Wow that's amazing...makeup, low top and very short skirt or shorts...on a 6th grader! :Q

I don't fault the girl...they want to wear what others do and what they see on mtv, but its the parents job to teach and enforce some sense of self respect and values. Franky you be slackin! :p (sorry if it seems I'm being offensive and crapping a joyous thread...but like that you'll be celebrating another baby next year, except that one will be your grandchild.)

Well, she might be 13... We can't remember which it is offhand. But she'd in that stage where all the "cool" people wear next to nothing so she just follows along. We make fun of her all the time for it.

I'll bet you won't be making fun of her when she comes home pregnant before she gets thru middle school. Kids need tough love, which sometimes means not letting them dress like a sorority girl at 12 or 13. ;)

Just trying to be constructive, not judgemental.

And if she wsa my child, you can bet she wouldn't be... but she's not and she lives in Iowa (we're in WI) so we don't see her all that often. heh heh.

I see, sorry, I thought she was your daughter. I'm sure you're a great parent (or will be with Elizabeth), altho I started to have some doubts thinking the other girl was your daughter and that you couldn't even remember how old she was. :p Parents who let their kids dress like that at such a young age should be charged with negligence of being a parent imo. :frown:

Congrats again on a healthy baby girl, and she is seriously one of the cutest babies I've seen in a long while. :)
