Actually, NO, they aren't.

Try saying the word knife, or talking about any terrorist attack in a mall, school, restaurant, etc. You can get arrested because they think you said that you were going to bomb suchandsuch place rather than either a) joking or b) discussing what would happen if it did happen casually. Expression? Write a controversial book, idiots get offended and sue you, tying you up for years for absolutely nothing. Freedom of religion?? Try practicing mediation in the middle of somewhere... BOOT! Try doing just about anything and people will be staring at you. Try eating your pasta with fingers in a restaurant.... BOOT! I could go on FOREVER, but we are a LOT more limited than we think.

Before I go: safety?! Pffffttt.... explain to me how you're safe from a nuke landing on you, again? How are you safe from someone just coming and murdering someone? It's all an illusion, get rid of it 🙂.

that being said, i wouldn't mind seeing the italian prime minister in jail for his making his opinion on islam public. (he said that muslims are less develloped than westerners in public)

Again, this country is run solely on $$$, nothing else is important. If $$$ isn't involve then you basically can't do squat. I see people so desperate that they even sell their grandmother for money or try to collect insurances from death of a family, relative, etc because of lack of money. money is everything to most people, well 99 percent of them are like that. Maybe we so stuck up on it that we let money control us instead of us control it, which is sad. Some people are never happy unless they are rich, my parent are like that and that make me sick. Not to mention USA, being the richest country is well respected for that, now if it was poor like China, we would see a whole different picture today.
