I was attacked by a flock of geese one time. I was taunting them, and all the sudden instead of running from me they all starting charging toward me. Probably the scariest minute of my life trying to run away from them.

when i was about 11 i went to my grandparents (they had a farm with a bunch of animals). i went to the backyard to play and was eating a sandwich.

A fricken duck attacked me and took my sammich! ..it scared the shit out of me.

Watch out for those sammich stealin ducks.

Could be. I aborted the stance of dominance after I saw the eyes on the alpha goose turn red with flames in them. Then I ran away screaming like a little girl. :awe:

Geese are extremely territorial, and quite insane. Especially swans.

i would not fuck with one.

seriously. They are retarded about showing their territorial dominance.

If one starts charging you, you could charge right back at it and it will not abort.

Also, if you come within 10ft of one that has little babies, you have a small chance of being allowed to continue without it chasing after you. Small, quite minimal actually.
Break that 10ft invisible line and all bets are off, it's a peckin and hissin as it stands against any sized animal at that point. 😀
They aren't bright, but they have small-guy syndrome. That's why they have to breed so much. 🙂

Yeah, I tried flexing my stance in front of goose that was nesting while I was out on a stroll. it stood up and starting hissing something fierce....I got the fuck out of there.
