That C-section was a good idea. My wife delivered my daughter vaginally, and she weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21.5" long. Even the episiotomy wasn't enough to prevent some major ripping. OUCH!

The doctor said he thought the baby was going to be around 7.5 pounds based on our last ultrasound, otherwise he would have performed a C-section.
