Alexander Ari Hayes was just born to my sister about 1.5hrs ago. 6lbs 11oz, 21 inches. Was supposed to be Super Bowl Sunday, but they decided to induce labor yesterday during a regularly scheduled checkup. She went back in 6am today as scheduled, and less than an hr of actual pushing was needed--the kid flew right out 😛 Mother and son are doing just fine.

It should be fun having a child to spoil then send home...

Oh yea--I also won my gentleman's bet of $1 with my grandfather that he would be born today instead of tomorrow... lol 😛
 
I'm an uncle like...um...16 times over. So, yeah congrats. Means a lot more when you can appreciate it. I was 5 when i became an uncle for the first time. (youngest of 6 kids)
 
bumping this up to share pics... he looks almost exactly like his father did as an infant, it's pretty cool 🙂
