Alexander Ari Hayes was just born to my sister about 1.5hrs ago. 6lbs 11oz, 21 inches. Was supposed to be Super Bowl Sunday, but they decided to induce labor yesterday during a regularly scheduled checkup. She went back in 6am today as scheduled, and less than an hr of actual pushing was needed--the kid flew right out Mother and son are doing just fine.

It should be fun having a child to spoil then send home...

I'm an uncle like...um...16 times over. So, yeah congrats. Means a lot more when you can appreciate it. I was 5 when i became an uncle for the first time. (youngest of 6 kids)
