It's 4pm, and I have no idea what I'm doing for dinner. Thinking about pizzahut.

No, you don't, but Supermarkets open to midnight and Krispy Kreme open 24 hours are options.
i don't think they have either of those things in england.

OP is just going to have to drink a pint to tide him over.

Decided on a frozen shepherds pie. I'll get to eat in ~1.5hrs

I don’t mind a good shepherd’s pie...(but for me it has to be beef, not lamb/mutton) but so many placed don’t make it “good.”

As for the OP, I’d probably knife several mofo’s for a couple of good donuts...but they’re NOT on the list of “allowed foods” on my diet...:(

These are ok. Not super amazing, but decent and cheap. Aldi gets them in during cool weather(They still had them two weeks ago). They're from Canuckistan, and the main ingredients are ground beef, potato, and some peas and corn. A box is ~$6, and I get 1.5 full meals out of it. On the half portion, I nuke it with a can of greenbeans to flesh it out.

Go to a 24 hour grocery store and get a bag of those mini donuts. I think they're Hostess.

My favorites are the chocolate covered ones and the ones dusted with powdered sugar. I can't resist those. If I buy a baggie it'll be gone in 48 hours at most so I don't buy them often.

They're great with a cup of coffee.

Edit - oh, I didn't notice the UK part. Still - my thought stands.

Shepard's pies are like the original hot pockets. Sort of. Wish we had those too, but hot pockets are good.

They're from Canada?

Who's the manufacturer? I am just curious because if they are decent I might pick one up.

We used to live pretty close to an amazing donut shop. No longer and it makes me sad

I dunno. It's under aldi's bremer brand, but someone else is making it for them. Here's a pic I found online of the box...

Maybe you recognize it? Some of their brands have labels that look very much like the real manufacturer. Oh, and of course the actual product doesn't look as good as the box, but isn't that always the case? :^D

I will check further.

and, yes, it's true that the label looks better than the product.

My mom makes these little tasty bastards. Oh are they good. Far cry from anything you get at Dunkin Donuts or the store. Although, Krispy Kreme is pretty good.

Tried to get some doughnuts on Saturday from 2 different Dunkin Doughnuts and both didn't have any. Guessing the bakery had power problems with the storm.
