It's 3:30AM, turn off your stupid bass

I can't stop this person(s) from playing their loud thumping bass "music" at 3:30AM so I'm going to post here instead.

I live in an apartment complex and occasionally, some people decide to pump out very heavy bass so-called "music" at night in their cars, or even early in the morning such as the case here. I have to get up in about an hour anyway so I figure I'll get an early start.

Not sure, but this might make me reconsider me from renting here when it's time for renewal.

So anyway, just sharing my little whining here. It is frustrating when your trying to get sleep. It's hard for me to get enough sleep as it is and here come these guys (and girls?) thinking everyone wants to hear their "thump, thump, drrrrrrr, thump, thump" at this time of night.

It's a car that's parked outside. Oh well, hey maybe he wants me to wake up early.

I have called the police in the past due to noise but I won't this time. I might send a letter to the apartment management company.
 
In his defense, it may not be turned up loud. A powered subwoofer that is very low in volume will still travel a great distance from the car.

However, if he has it turned up loud, fuck'em.

I have these jackasses tearing up the back of my house doing this pretty much every night. I'd sure like a job that allows me to say up to 3am ricing around in my car.

Had this one guy who'd do burnouts in his redneck pickup truck every night. Called the cops on numerous occasions but they came up with some BS excuse that they couldn't stop him unless I game them the plate number. Fortunately, they caught him in the act earlier this week. So it's been a little quieter. Never used to have this problem until these dickless assholes from Toronto started moving out here.
 
Go down there and shoot them in the head. When cops arrive, tell them you did it in the name of respect for others and that it is time for responsible people to take back the world in the name of common decency.

No jury would ever convict you.

And quite frankly, if we could get a few dozen incidents like this on the nightly news, maybe these dumb fucks would get a little smarter. And if not, at least there would be a few less of them.
 
OP, all you need is a microwave transmitter with a little power behind it and, your troubles are over. Not only will it wreak havoc with the sound system, it will kill their cell reception as well. They'll move on in a hurry.
 
It is kind of weird but when I left the apartment to go outside, the car where the noise was coming from appeared to be empty but with the windows rolled down. The noise was playing but there was no one (did not see anyone in the front or back). So, maybe someone forgot to shut it off or they were reclining? Anyway, it's just another example of humans.

I can somewhat understand these loud subwoofers being used during daytime to play the noise but at 3AM there should be some remote sort of courtesy.

I guess I can't complain too much. It hasn't happened in a long time so it's all good.
