I'm still trying to figure out why the CS server I just set up on the linux box next to me won't let anyone pick a team. Anyone and everyone can connect and join the server, but once you click a button on the screen that gives you the option of which team you want, it just sits there... doing nothing. There's no follow-up screen offering which skin to use and it doesn't move anyone from spectator to T or CT.

Well, this isn't the first issue I've had to fix. It's just the "next" issue I have to fix. I've got metamod and AMX installed and working properly. However, I'm not sure what config files to check to fix this issue.

Me too. I've had people trying to join all night. Once I get this thing going, I'm gonna be rockin in the free world.
I just need a faster upload so I can handle more than 4 players max.

I've already uninstalled steam. I do not wish to play with it for a while.

I still can't believe I stayed up till 3:00 am in the morning to get a steam id for myself when it was officially release. And work the next day. Was a steam id of 6094 really worth it?Besides, I'm way too excited about getting slackware on my laptop and getting the latest version of gnome and then install gdesklets.
