I have to say DMV in CT went from horrible to pretty good.

Going there used to be a whole day trip with sketchy results. Now, you hardly ever have to actually go there. Most of it can be done through mail/online.

And even when you do go there, their new building in Bridgeport is pretty good. They have a nice little set up.

Compare to what it used to be in the 90s (East main street).....it's night and day.

Make an appointment. I got my license renewed a few weeks ago and was in an out in under 30 minutes. That included a change of address, vision test and taking a new photo.

This please. I was there two weeks ago. I didnt even get the chance to find a seat by the time they called me up.

Yeah 1.5 hours is awesome.

The SF DMV is unbelievable.... You have to camp out and even if you have an appointment it ends up meaning nothing and the soonest appointment is about a month out.
