Its 1:40 PM in the afternoon...

... I'm trying to sleep and this guy keeps hammering outside.

For like an hour.

Who the heck has to hammer something for an hour?

1. Step away from the computer.
2. Deliver your computer to the hammering guy.
3. Let him hammer your computer.
4. ATOT profit!

As opposed to 1:40 PM in the morning?

Is there such a thing?

1:40 PM in the afternoon is redundant was his point.

it is so very clearly obvious that the redundancy of the repetitiveness of the situation produces a result that which can be shortened from it's considerable length to produce a more concisely summarized shorter version of the original, first sentence.

😀

Night shift workers?

Someone pulling an all night NEF session?
he was up all night cuddling with girl #2, but thinking of girl #1 while making weekend plans with girl #8 and also trying to schedule an appointment at the free clinic because of that strange rash he got from girl #14.

It is possible...or at least I've heard...that carpenters sometimes hammer for an hour, sometimes even multiple hours!!! And get this....they often work in the afternoon....<gasp>

nyquil (or other non pain relieving sleep aids) + earplugs ftw...in college (and apparently the military) you learn to sleep anywhere
