Itanium 2 = PIII 1.13?

Seems so.. looks like we're reaching an all time low point -- a hardforum level of intelligence

This article is a joke...

I find it really difficult to believe that the Opteron is "breathing down Itaniums neck"...the two parts don't even compete for the same market segment. Just because Intel may have stumbled this once here doesn't bode the end of the Itanium series; Intel has some very nice IA-64 chips in the works, along with some of the most skilled engineers in the world working on them. Don't think they won't come back...

P.S. It's kind of bad form to link articles from your own website. Especially when they have numerous spelling/grammatical errors.

Get ur asbestos T shirt on:

There are no spelling mistakes, only your reading age seems to let you down. As for the Grammar, call it or shut it. I see no issues that I should give a sh!t about and they would make the facts no less apparent.

Recent stories in the past couple of days indicate that as few as 4000 Itaniums have been shifted since production started. NOT SINCE IT2, since the production of Itanium began. If you think the article is a joke, laugh and move on

. I don't need your visits, I get more than enuff as it is....

And last but not least, this is a CPU forum, I would have posted the story on my website anyhow, I linked it for interested parties. You read it, point in fact.

Oops, I should have looked at his link before posting. The Big I still sucks, but not quite as much as that site. 😛
