Italics font problem

Hey all,

I was wondering if somebody could help me out. I seem to be having a problem in Win Xp Pro where several of my fonts while browsing and using AIM appear as italics.

I found this page that seems to shed some light on the subject (I did uninstall some things today), but I don't know how to go about reinstalling fonts onto XP Pro.
