I visited the one Italian American I know over the weekend, a 130 mile drive each way. First time I saw him in person at his place in over 10 years. He has no use for Trump whatsoever after 1/6. He was indignant when I brought up the subject of politics. His family is evidently full of dolts, though. He's in N. Calif. now, brought up in New Jersey. His rise above his origins is inexplicable and remarkable. He's very angry and bitter concerning his clueless family and he has no illusions.

Does he like cannolis? If not, his opinion doesn't count.

I have no idea. I had to look this up. I imagine he does like them.

He offered to make us a lasagna, but served oven heated frozen processed Italian instead: fancy pizza, cheese stuffed little party favors, cheese and jalapeno stuffed, deep fried pop-somethings. Cool stuff, actually.
