IT8212 (ITE8212) Controller on Linux

Has anyone been able to get the IT8212 (or referred to ITE8212 as well) controller working on Linux? I have it on my Asus board and Asus provides a driver from it but it doesn't compile to make the module. The IT company (in Taiwan) has an outdated driver on their site that also doesn't compile. Any tips?
