Racism is shunned everywhere in modern American society, save for the old people dying out who had it ingrained in them and the small percentage of idiots that you have in any society no matter how much 'anti racism racism' the race brigaiders push.


At this point people like sharpton, homer, classy, emp, and the rest of the crew are doing nothing more than pushing division in our society. They don't want equality, they want us divided. Sad.

Tickling a monkey? Ever heard of it? Ever heard of black people being referred to as monkeys? Ever heard of black people have big lips?

Why else would you play with the lips? You guys can play dumb all you want, but all it does is make you look dumb.

Someone isn't out looking for racism. Its not like you had to stretch with the monkey bit. Considering nothing monkey related was at the event. Tickling someone isn't racist.

Oh and I'll remember never to touch a mask, especially on the lips, next time I'm wearing one or someone else is. I mean, playing with a mask has never crossed anyone's mind before, unless they were racist.

Ok for all the people in denial. Why else would someone play with the lips on a mask? What would be their goal in doing so? Ill even be generous and say "any mask". Doesnt have to be an Obama one.

Is there a decent video showing how the lips were actually played with? When I think of playing with lips, the first thing I think of is the Looney Tunes thing where they rub a finger up and down the lips while blowing to indicate craziness or stupidity.
 
I'll sum this shit up in three points:


Point #1: Wearing the mask of a president is not inherently racist.

Point #2: The crowd attending the event, likely was composed of those who held some racist ideals.

Point #3: The crowd attending the event, likely also composed of those opposed to the political views of Democratic President Obama.


In conclusion: The crowd may have been assumed racist, but there is strong evidence of their dislike towards Obama's political stances on issues. Therefore, racism is a weak argument.


Just because a bunch of white people (mostly republicans) got together and had a good time, doesn't make it a fucking Klan rally.

I'd say we are rapidly distancing ourselves from our destination. Things that are considered perfectly acceptable for one President are considered completely unacceptable for another President, based solely on the color of his skin.

This. But the scariest part is how entwined political ideology has become with overt and tolerated racism if and only if you sit on the left. It has been a difficult bunker to breach because of how effective it has been in shutting down dialogue that seeks to approach it.

Clearly it is a minority of liberal blacks and whites who are overtly racist and expose it without reproach through the media, but the fact that it is often tolerated based on political ideology (not on the color of skin, IMO an interesting twist) is what is the most interesting part.

Clearly it should not be tolerated from either side nor from anyone's ethnicity. Question is why is it selectively tolerated? What is the effect of that "tolerance" on MLK's dream?
