It's been said that there was no wind at the event that day. Assuming as such and after close examination of that pic I've come to the conclusion his hair is being held in place by hundreds of head lice that want to keep themselves under cover while the hair itself wants to be released and die the natural death it's been denied from Trump's use of chemical enhancers and stylists that were forcing his pitifully tortured hair into an hideous unnatural state of lay.

People who hate themselves, that is to say, everybody is attracted to shit like flies. The more conservative you are the more mired in misery and addicted to it you become. It is what we fear so it is what we feel we deserve or what we feel we deserve and thus unconsciously seek out. Trump would find no success in life as the shit that he is without our having a need to seek out and wallow in that shit ourselves. Only if you know this and find it appallingly true will one seek to ignore such shit for the sake of reaching out to transcend it for some higher moral aim. The only person you can really appeal to to ignore him is yourself. Don't feed the monster within but know that is what you will do the moment you focus elsewhere. Love Trump, pity him so you can have mercy on yourself. It's not something the ego will truly will but it is something we can know and remember from time to time is a more proper aim, or so goes my opinion.

I feel the same way about McConnell, too. And he didn't just start with Trump taking power, and unfortunately he isn't finished yet...with a small miracle perhaps Georgia will flip those two senate seats and take him out of his perch but I'm not holding my breath on that one... where Donald knows he's finished and is milking the supporters for everything they'll offer, McConnell clings to his power in the senate and will do anything he can to retain it.

Both evil pieces of human garbage imo, but I also think McConnell is doing more long-term damage.

The Republican Party is a party of fear, fear that those who feel entitled to have will have that entitlement challenged. They are motivated by the notion that gratification is scarce and only for the worthy and that is because the are inwardly driven by the unconscious presence of the feeling they are unworthy coupled with an inculcated false notion of what it means to be worthy. These will be our most superficial, hiding inadequacy behind worshiping all the different flavors of Mammon, ostentatiousness, fame, glamour, etc.

This fear of unmasking and exposure of inner failure will creat the greatest neediness among our people to seek and command control. They will be the first to fall victim to rationalization, the sense that they deserve to control. They will be our worshipers of authoritarian control. The enemy of the day will be democracy and socialism, the desire for equality. To a conservative mind, democracy and equality are like asking a starving person to share bread. To them other people are a threat and evil. They are inwardly empty and can’t be filled.
