Yeah I think thats the biggest change I've seen on ATOT over the last few years. You've got maybe a dozen guys telling stories and about 800 crapping all over them.
Kinda sad. Did they really sign up just to shit on people?

....I've been there. My membership is maybe 3 years old, now? my time in those forums lasts for about 2 hours at a time, once or twice a year.

The vinegar and bleach scrub-downs that I must endure after those visits keeps me away.

If you spend time in CHAOS looking for it, yeah. But the majority of the regular posters don't give a shit about AT.

Being a much smaller forum it's possible for one or 2 people to dominate the atmosphere. I find that HP and a few others there do just that and mostly that's what turns me off it. I don't mind dealing with ass holes and douche bags on forums but when they start to dominate the discussions I get tired.

yeah, it's more the circle-jerk knob-schlobbing atmosphere than the "bitching cause it's not ATOT" atmosphere that rubs me the wrong way.

True. Although he is a mod there so I assume there are some limits even there. But the truth is that kind of school playground talk is only fun for about 5 mins at a time. Here on ATOT we can at least have some serious discusions. Certinaly you have many of the same characters here too but I just can't see having some of the serious threads we have here over there at all.

As long as you don't embed porn, steal smileys, or threaten others family members I think you're ok.

And there are some very knowledgeable members who are willing to help and have serious discussions. Cars, computers, cooking, photography, home improvement, video games are all in the repertoire. Shit, we even dabble in politics occasionally.
